I don't think it's a penalty, but incidental contact should've been called on the play. You can't run the goalie like that while he's in his crease, it's not legal, it's not clean, and it's not good hockey. I really expected better from two clubs who usually play a good, hard working, respectful game.
I'm surprised that counted. Don't think there should have been a penalty but waived for the incidental goalie interference. Looks like Fraser sees things the same way in his c'mon ref article for 12/22 on TSN.
After all the goals taken away from Holmstrom for being in the crease, without touching the goalie, and this garbage stands… Oh well, at least Howard stands up for his teammates, despite being a goalie. Attacked Crosby for a cheap shot, now Hansen too.

the umad howard/wings dont deserve to be Top comments. nice sportsmanship…. makes us huge hypocrites especially beginning of the season comin bak from a "unfair" playoff against hawks. probably the hooligans tht started the riot. they deserve to die in a fire.
Do any of you actually know why Jimmy Howard went after him? He shoves Lidstrom for no reason after the goal. But that's fine, take a look at the standings. 🙂

To be fair… this was probably a "make-up" call as the Canucks were shorthanded because of Kesler going after Kronwall after the hit.

WTF Hansen…There are a few unwritten rules in hockey. One is that you don't mess with Nick Lidstrom on a non-hockey play.
