  1. Cheers to Matthews giving the nod to a division (& regional to boot) rival in Thompson.

  2. Bo Horvat doesn't get the recognition he deserves. One of the best 2nd line centers in the game.

  3. Did Mathew’s really have to point out that he scored 30. Who cares that’s so irrelevant

  4. I’ve only just learned about tage Thompson and guys like Svechnikov in Carolina this year. And as someone from Edmonton I also agree with Zach Hyman

  5. Not a single person said Jason Robertson worst ever. His rookie year he was same point a game pace as kaprizov who had 5 years pro experience prior to NHL, unlike Robertson straight out of OHL. Then sophomore year he gets 41 goals, but yet Matthews quotes Thompson at 38 and in his 5th year? Now Robertson 2nd lead in NHL over all in his 3rd year and Thompson in his 6th is behind Thompson.

But ya let's not talk about Jason Robertson in his 3rd year at 169 points in 152 games. (Point a game player) over Thompson who is 138 points in 247 games. (Not a point a game player).

  6. Dude … it’s Marchand .. ppl always say he’s such a rat and dirty, guy has gone like 50 games with only 1 penalty and is prob he best winger in the world playing on 1 st line Canada and he perfection line in Boston but Bergeron and paternal get all the cred. When marchy is the one digging out the puck on the boards winning those battles for berg and pasta not to mention he’s a perennial 30+ goal scorer… but all ppl em him for is slew ftg the sedins in 2011 and licking in 2016… guy has completely turned his ame around from not being dirty and filthy… but to just lethal. Ppl forget how good he actually is.

  7. Another guy who quietly puts up big numbers while playing excellent defense is Justin Faulk, I mean for the past two seasons he’s probably been the Blues best player on most nights.

  8. I think barkov shldnt be on the list, he is a superstar and 1 of the top players in the nhl

  9. Surprised no votes for Mikko Rantanen the guy has been lighting up the league for his whole career and even when big players go down for the avs hes still tallying lots of points top 20 in points 5 of his 7 NHL seasons, top 10 in 2 of the last 3… dont think hes rated anywhere near the top 20 players let alone top 10 on any list… he is currently 15th of all NHL players in points since 2018-2019 season till today…alexander barkov in that time… is #16 behind mikko.

  10. Why do people act like matthews predicted it, tage was a stud last year and is at the time if this video posting
