In the Gophers semi-final game against Ohio State on March 20th, not only did Minnesota beat the Buckeyes to move on to the championship game, Adam Wilcox stopped all 39 shots he faced to shut out Ohio State. This was Wilcox’s sixth shutout of the season and thirteenth career shutout, which tied the record.
Three Gophers scored against the Buckeyes: Sam Warning, Vinni Lettieri and Travis Boyd. The last goal being an empty-netter.
