I disagree with this call. Just because he’s taller, doesn’t mean he meant to hit his head. He even kept his elbow to his side and didn’t raise it. Did he leave his feet? Yes. I woulda given 2 minutes for charging. That’s it.

Looking through all the comments saying that they got the call right and I’m here like…uhhhh nope? 😂 yeah he left his feet…but like they said Garland is a smaller player and the principle point of contact was 100% the chest not the head. Maybe a 2 min for elbowing if you really wanna punish the guy for leaving his feet but the rest really wasn’t in his control.
We need to change elbowing to a major penalty and then if someone gets at least five elbowing penalties in one season must and I say must serve a one game suspension I have never seen this many elbowing penalties in my 45 year career as a player and a fan

If you leave your feet and you still have a legal check is there a call. I know you don’t have to make contact with a player to get a slashing penalty you just have to have the act of slashing at him
