  1. Lines that I believe should be next season:

    Jake-Sid-Rakell
    Zuck-Malkin-Nylander
    Rust-Poeling-O’Conner
    Poulin-Hollander-Puustinen

Buy out Grandland, sit Carter all year in press box!

  2. I see no reason to go after Andersen over Varlamov. His body is broken. He'd be more injured than Jarry and he hasn't been good in 3 of the last 4 seasons anyway.
Varlamov is only 2 years older and is consistent and tough mentally. Career .919 in the playoffs.
Just need to squeeze out like 2 more good years from him.

  3. I realize Wilkes-Barre was pretty bad. And I know there's probably not a superstar down there or anything. But I've seen people say Nylander isn't an NHL player. Puustinen isn't an NHL player. Whoever. I just think, Are you sure? I'm supposed to trust the talent evaluation of Hextall and Sullivan for what reason?

Obviously Hextall isn't part of that equation anymore. But I just have a hard time believing the Penguins have had any idea what they're doing in recent years–regarding drafting, trades, free agent signings, and lineup decisions. With the results they've gotten, and "bad" players like Nylander looking like an advanced stats darling when he's given a minute chance. It's all just a neon sign to me saying These people don't know what they're doing.
