The Canes are the softest team I ever seen
Islanders finally get a win in this series and beat the Hurricanes to get back in the series I will say the first playoff game ever at UBS Arena and the fans were loud and even a local team the players of the New York Jets was there at the game as well and finally the Islanders scored a Power Play goal
It’s actually impressive how bad Carolina has managed to be away from home in the playoffs.
Canes are soft even if they find a way to win the series, there is no way they make it out of the east, they just ain't built for the playoffs
By my calculations, that’s 10 losses on the road in a row for Carolina in the playoffs
That last 5m of the game pissed me off. The only part of the game for the canes where we didn't look right. Can't take that many penalties though…
As a former Canuck fan, but a big fan of Horvat…… I'm struggling to see his fit at the Islanders. He providing a great deal to them, but not points at key moments.
Bunch of jerks? Maybe bunch of pansies. Been saying for years now to beat the canes get physical, they are soft. That guy on necas should have brought a fight, yet nothing. They have ZERO physicality.

I was there – I feel like the fan penalty calls really stemmed from an early hooking call that looked fairly soft from the replay they showed in the building.
Justice for game 2. This game and that 3rd period completely changes this series. It's going to give the Isles more confidence moving forward and at the same time plant some doubt in Carolina's head. Go Isles!

Watching Canes play their possession game for long stretches most games..if they don’t score much..the opponent starved …hungry! Not surprising this is outcome…all those goals in short order!

I was at the game last night, awesome game and experience at the UBS. Refs got boo'd for anything they did because of our perceived bad refs throughout the first 2 games. So It didn't matter if it was ice or not, penalty or not, the refs were getting boo'd lol.

The crowd at this game was one of the loudest crowds I've ever heard. It kinda made me want to root for the Islanders
Had the displeasure of watching the canes broadcast of this game. What an awful group of commentators. If you hadn’t been watching the actual game you’d of thought it ended very differently.

Being a New York team gives you priveleges like access to good acting classes. Clutterbuck's wannabe Chuck Norris backflip was laughable and the high stick call in the 3rd was the result of a stick lift just like the one that wasn't called in game 2 because it's cheap hockey to anyone with a sensible ethic.
Isles need to win the next game as much as they needed to win last night. Can’t go back to Raleigh down 3-1 or this series is likely over.
