Not to be outdone, Patrick Kane scored his fourth of the season after Phillip Kurashev forced another turnover by Elvis Merzlinkins behind the Columbus goal. Kurashev finished the night with a goal and an assist.
Reese Johnson made this NHL debut on the evening leading the team with 7 hits in just under 11 minutes of ice time.
Dominik Kubalik was held off the score sheet on the evening as he has now put the puck in the net in only one game of the first 10 on the shortened season.
