  1. As a bitter flames fan, Klim is the first player I have ever liked on the oilers. Love the way this guy interacts with fans.

  2. “My name is klim and I’m hungry” that’s when I knew

  3. He is an awesome personality! Genuine to the core! Loved his hug for McDavid yesterday as well. Just a beautiful human being! GoOilersGo🔥🧡💙

  4. Interesting that this video is created only after Klim scored the game winning goal and not before, on his personality.

  5. I moved to Poland last summer, for a lot non native English speakers even just talking to me is terrifying. Never mind an interview with a massive audience like this, mad props for having the guts to take the interview

  6. Edmonton is a heavily blue collar city. Edmontonians are ones to really appreciate effort on the ice. The team can lose, so long as the players gave it their all, they will be cheered on.

That being said, we've seen what also happens when the players don't give it their all, and cough up a game. Just the other night, it was certainly bad to be throwing stuff on the ice, that's just garbage. It's just how they react to such a lazy finish effort though. It's insulting to them.

A guy like Kostin is going to be welcome there for as long as he simply plays with heart. If he simply plays hard, they will notice it, and love him for it, likely more so than many other buildings would. It's just the way that city rolls.

  7. Players with personality are sorely lacking in the NHL. That’s why guys like Subban, Zegras, and the Tkachuks are so prominently featured in their social media. So many players come across duller than white bread and while I’m sure they’re not actually like that (the hot mic from last nights game being a good example of that), it’s hard to get really excited about white bread if you’re either new to the sport or frustrated with your team’s performance. So Im glad to see that there’s another player helping bringing more excitement back to the game

  8. 3rd/4th line grinders is how you win cups. As a wings fan "The Grind Line" Drapper, McCarrty, Maltby, Kocur. They got their own Wikipedia Page. Grinders win Cups.

  9. Every team needs a guy like klim, just someone who works hard and enjoys playing hockey for his team, his personality is also amazing to see.

  10. Quickly became a fan favorite with his genuine breath of fresh air interviews, work ethic and skill to top it off. The real Klim Shady!

  11. As a Blues fan I always liked Klim. Sad to see him leave STL but glad to see he’s doing well

  12. Yes, Klim has been a great player picked up by Holland for Samorukov. Love his personality, laugh and smile. He skates, stick handles, big hits, and shoots well. If he plays a full 82 games (in beast mode), he could score 15 or perhaps even 20 goals. 👍 Hope the Oil can re-sign him to a cap-friendly long term contract.

  13. After he has playoff experience and gains some confidence he will become a major part of this team..Not that he isn’t already but it will only magnify 👊💪🏾
    Go Oilers Go
KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE 🏆

  14. Klim has just oozed personality since he's joined. On AND off ice. His distinct playstyle where he's very physical, his clearly standing up for teammates, and trying to prevent fights (going out of his way to say to the rivals "No. You don't wanna do this" and even PROTECTING the rivals to stop them from getting too pummelled), his random bear hugs he gives teammates, his hilarious menace antics with Tony Brar. I hope he's in the team for a long time.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. The clip of him vibing to "The Real Slim Shady" in last night's game with a look of "fuckin a rights, that's who I am".

  15. Klimmer is amazing I’m rooting for him every game. This whole oilers team this year is on another level!!!

  16. I really hope he signs with Edmonton long term after this year. He’s so needed on this team right now. He’s a perfect, if not better than a replacement for Kassian. LFGO!

  17. Klim was a robbery for the oilers. Dude can really play. Huge part of our bottom 6. Hope he stays here for a long time

  18. I wonder how such a large ukrainian population feels about a russian player or how special it is for him not to be drafted right now.

  19. I loved him as a player and now I love him as a person he was so genuine and you could really tell he meant every word he said
