Why would NHL try to screw the Oilers if the league needs to sell the game more to mainstream US and not considered as a niche sport in the US by showcasing the current best player in McDavid? That would be counterproductive isn't?
Interesting , there is no need to panic, last year same team first round at this point was only 2-1 only reversed and the boys still kicked LA's bench in 7 which is to be expected, LA was never in recent years an easy sweep. So everyone relax and remain supportive. the losses were by such a small margin .
LA and Todd McLellan ( our old coach remember he knows the boys how they play) have had something to prove this round as we kicked their ass last year, we all knew it wasn't going to be easy a second year in a row. This Oilers team is 490% better and more in sync then lest year. This is just a bit of posturing and the boys just need to watch the game footage ( or at least the video coaches to see how LA is just tangling with the players and find a ix that will confuse and aggravate the Kings to take penalties and most important get a lead and keep it and when possible make it a decisive lead not just by 1.
And most important don't count on overtime, play 3rd period like your about to be put out of the playoffs, and fight like the incredible machine this line up truly is and can be.
Beat LA in period 1 and 2 and continue to keep foot on gas till end of 3rd, no letting up. Change up the plays and lines once a lead is in hand and LA will just continue to take penalty after penalty. They already showed they cant keep their cool.
Oilers WILL Win over LA im sure of it ( unless Nurse does some stupid goalie crowding in our own net) it could be a uphill fight like last year, only this year will be even more sweet as we move to next round.
I can usually tell pretty early on when the Oilerâs intentionality is weak. Last night was no exception. Theyâre the better team and they can win the series, but that doesnât mean they will. They need to clear their own end faster and with possession. They needed better puck support at times last night. And ultimately, they could use a bit more discipline, although I didnât like the way the game was refereed last night. But if it is going to be like that, the Oilers need to adapt, to take the referees out of the game.
It's not only this series, the referring totally sucks . I'm not at all happy with the calls being made against all hockey players this season or am I alone.

Last night's game was a JOKE!!!
2-2 tomorrow. Everyone can take a breather.
Even with bad calls, Other players other than 97 and 29 have to step up
Kings chose to skip their on ice practice and instead elected to attend more acting classes!
LA when Edmonton attaches the net LA has 4 people playing goal.

Adversity and bad refs, betting is getting out of control.
Oilers in 4!

Okay, these subtitles are hysterical. "That I really liked alcohol really liked alcohol we didn't like that car"
Go Kings go from YYC .â
Give them a few more overall number 1âs. Four in six years apparently isnât fraudulent enough.

If Vinny gifts another powerplay weâll have to go 12-6 or call up Holloway or Nemalainen
Why did Draisaitl get a penalty for slashing the ice ?
Hey jay….sit Yamamoto
Oilers just need to take everything that LA is giving them and not reciprocate in order to NOT get any penalties.
Tell your players to stop taking stupid fkn penalties because itâs obvious the kings are getting under their skin. And itâs working.
Why are we NOT addressing stupid penalties???
Letâs go oilers!!!!letâs go!!!
I like this coach, he is still fairly young but has definitely done his time paid his dues. he deserves to be there as much as the team.
Itâs not close at all. Just win J
Jay has the right attitude, As furious as you can be at the officiating you still have to win 4. This is a great team that can get it done!
