I said the series will be decided by coaching….Yamo has no business in the top six…. Our 3 /4 line checkers are better defensive players than our top 6 players…Our Top 6 players should not be killing penalties, maybe the last 30 seconds….but not at the start… ☹

They didn’t rule it wasn’t a high stick. They ruled there wasn’t decisive proof that it did. It almost certainly kissed the stick because McDavids reaction was instantaneous.
High stick or not, if we had 5 players on the ice i think that goal wouldnt have been scored in the first place. We need to stop taking so many penalties

The angle from behind the net was definitely conclusive that it was a high stick, we clearly see it lose like 80% of it's forward momentum and change direction
Oilers are too good not to avoid games like this… every game is too close. They need to score more goals and play consistent defense. You can’t win games by relying on inches and calls… the bottom line, regardless, they allow the kings to hang around. Mind you, the kings are missing their best player… Fiala.
Draisaitl needs be more disciplined. The unnecessary slashing calls is just driving me insane. Connor just scored two goals for us and what do you do? Kill our momentum and give them a great opportunity to tie it up. You give them chances, they'll capitalize. Hopefully things change for the better in game 4!
As a Kings fan, I can admit it looked like it touched Vilardi's stick ever so slightly. That being said, it's not like it touched Vilardi's stick and went directly in the net or to another Kings player.. Whether it did/didn't touch his stick had legitimately no impact on the play. It's tough, play probably should've been blown dead but also – These things happen to literally every team in the playoffs. Have to find a way to execute and win regardless. Will concede though that the poor officiating generally benefitted LA tonight

How about the Oilers score goals other than on the powerplay or empty net. They have 3 even strength goals in this series.
