The OT winner reminded me of the one against Washington
Being old enough to remember the Leafs' Cup-winning years of the 1960's, I felt the same spirit in tonight's game. Do what you need to win.
Leafs flipped the script. Usually it them dominating OT and then the other team gets a bounce and in it goes in.

Might be surprising to hear but Schenn improved his game in the time he was with the Canucks. He was usually with Quinn Hughes and can be more offensive than people might think. I miss daddy

Stamkos lost a lot of respect from me they way he crossed checked Rielly when he was down and then he goons on Matthews. Stamkos should be embarrassed. That was bush league.
I think the Leafs need to go into game 4 with the mindset that its there game 7 and finish these guys off. If they respect there opponent too much and have the mindset of well if we lose game 4 were lucky to have split in Tampa and at least we got home ice advantage back. Big mistake in my opinion. They need to have a killer intinct and win the next one be up 3-1 man. This next game is huge. I don't want this series to go 7. They had 65 hits in game . Hopefully Tampa is wearing down. 4 games left and Tampa needs to win 3 of them. Highly unlikely against this Leaf Team!

I also believe the Refs are absolutely sick of the Toronto Maple Leafs crying all those 67 sauce tears 🤓
I felt like after the Reilly Point crash…. Leafs were afraid. Afraid a Tampa player was going to hit them hard or even dirty and they just kept dumping the puck in. It was Knies who was the first to actually carry the puck into Tampas Zone which got them eventually more confident and activated.
John Cooper made a big mistake in my opinion by not pulling Vasilevsky and resting him when the LIghting got blown out in game 2 ,He looks tired out there and not the same .They might lose the series due to this mistake
