You know, it’s funny:
I was a religious Rangers-game-watcher in the 2011-2012-2013 seasons and then kinda tailed off a bit when I left NY. Not having MSG and being in a completely different time-zone really hurt my enjoyment of the NHL overall.
Imagine my surprise coming into this season with the determination to watch as many NYR games as possible and learning that freaking Chris Kreider, my good gazelle boy, became a 50 goal scorer the previous season! And now seeing his performance in the playoffs thus far? It’s incredible to see how much this guy has matured.
And I may call him “just the tip” but that snap-shot on Shmid last night was just lethal.
