  1. Addition by subtraction is a very easy concept. Sanheim and/or Provorov are gone. The cap has to be addressed immediately. They are going to try and get the best value for these players but it is not as important as cap space. If you get a 2nd this year and a 1st in 2024 for Senheim then you do it. We have seen Sanheim ceiling and it was last year. You are going to start plugging in a couple free agents on expiring contracts. Then you bring up an Attard and/or Zamula. I think you look hard at a deal with LA for Provorov. He is exactly what LA needs and LA has a bunch of good young RHD prospects with upside. This is where scouting comes in for the Flyers. D’Angelo is traded at the deadline for whatever you can get. I don’t want to hear all the whining about how much you gave up for D’Angelo. Next year is phase 2 in the rebuild. Hayes will be traded and it’s not about value but salary. You obviously have to eat some of his salary and that is fine. The salary dump continues. I could see a buyout of Atkinson for salary purposes. Tippett and Forester are your 2nd and 3rd line right wingers. I don’t see how you can keep both Konecny and Atkinson. I like Brink (another RW) but he needs more time in the AHL next year. There is a lot of potential with Brink. I see him as a future asset on the power play.. Allison is gone as the Flyers have some depth on RW in the system. Coots situation will obviously affect some decisions on how they move forward. I think the direction is clear for the Flyers moving forward. 2025 will be when they make the aggressive move in free agency and start to make a run. This will take patience but so like the building blocks we have in place. I can go on and on about prospects and development. The Fletcher firing firing is the classic case of “better late than never”.

  2. Russ looks quite ominous in his car…lol. Maybe on a stakeout? Or a hit…

  3. Jason Myretus: It's very definitive Flyers are in a Complete rebuild and overhaul of everything, weather you see it that way or not.
