  1. Sounds like we match up well. Excited to see how our defenders amp up the physicality around the net! Appreciate your content all year long! 82 games are done and we get more Kraken hockey so I can’t be mad no matter the outcome. Just thankful my city is represented in the playoffs!

  2. Commenting before watching so as to not be influenced.

I personally wanted Colorado over Stars, Oilers or Knights.

Not as an insult to Avs but simply because Kraken seem to match-up well against them. The added bonus of being on the road (weird right?) and Avs having a couple of major injuries.

Kraken are playing with house money. All the pressure is on Colorado. I think they do have a shot.

That being said, I do think that the playoffs are just a different level of hockey… something the Kraken learn and carry forward to next year!

    Avs in 6.

  3. Will you be attending the home playoff games? Soooo excited!!! Can’t believe where we are from last year 🙉🙉 Go Kraken ⚓️

  4. AVs fan here. Congrats to the Kraken for even making the playoffs in their second year. I'm looking forward to the series.

  5. If you don't know the good site to pirate games from you're not really an Avs fan lol good ole Stan Kronkhole fuckin us not letting us watch

  6. This playoff is a lesson to me of not splitting my allegiance, because the team that will probably end up beating the Kraken is another team I wish will go all the way–kind of.(IF the Kraken do not go all the way, and I do mean IF, since I have a surfeit of hope). Thanks for the very satisfying analysis. GO KRAKEN!

  7. I must say, as an avs fan, it's pretty cool that your first ever playoff series is against avs. I'm not going to lie. I would not be mad if we lost

  8. What worries me for the Avs is the commotions of Makar and the fact that they don't have the same goalie, Georgiev is pretty much inexperienced in the playoffs so it's pretty much of a wildcard in my book… What I like though is that they didn't add a "big" name at the trade deadline, which never works (the only exeption I can think of is Jeff Carter to the Kings when they won the first time)

  9. But yeah, I have to admit I am pretty impressed with how the Kraken got to the playoffs, especially when you compare to how the Knights built their team and went to the finals in their first season, I really didn't think much of the Kraken… I think the Kraken has a bright future and is built to last…

  10. I hope the kraken win, not for me but for you. You apparently care for them, alot. I used to feel this way about the tampa bay lightning, then moved away 2017, then they win 2 cups. The kraken need to stay focused on young stars like beniers, then we will win a cup in +- 7 years.

  11. The intro hit me right in the feelers. Being a Colorado transplant to the PNW. I think it'll be a tighter series than most people think

  12. Good luck to your kraken. Gotta be tough to root against your old team. Its probably the best shot they will get to take out the avs. I would feel better knowing i had to play the avs early rather than deeper into the playoffs when they have time to find their groove. Avs are still injured, no landie, but lehkki is back, and makar is iffy to return for round one. Its about as much of a toss up as it could be at this point. May the best team win, GO AVS!

  13. Avs fan giving out huge kudos to the Kraken for making their first playoffs. Seattle fans, especially new ones to hockey, are going to love it as IMO there’s nothing like NHL playoff hockey. Good luck to y’all and may the best team move on.

  14. Should be a really good series. I'm an Avs fan and I do think they will get the job done, but I do not see a sweep, at all, unless Gru just collapses. Our teams seem well matched. Is Burakovsky back in the lineup? I haven't followed you guys too closely but I know he was out for a long time. Donskoi was one of my favorites too.
The Avs have had a long and miserable season with an ungodly amount of injuries, and I'm amazed they were able to climb back to win the division, but it raises the question of a) who's gonna go down next and b) if they can repeat last year's success without the captain. If the Kraken pull off the upset, I will be rooting for them to go all the way.

  15. The Kraken are way better than the Preds last year, i predict Avs in 6. The goalie battle is interesting because Grubi could want revenge and play fantastic but ill warn kraken fans he could very easily give up constant back breaking goals at the worst possible moment. At the end of the day playoff Mackinnon is just different than the regular season and the Kraken just dont have that level of player

  16. I will say dont let the numbers fool you, Kuemper was better than Grubi. Kuemps just didnt give up the back breaking goals and dont get it twisted Kuemper was absolutely elite against the Lightning, we would have lost if he wasnt

  17. I’m in a Similar boat as you. I’ve always rooted for the Avs but I’m from Portland, so when Seattle got a team I naturally started rooting for them too. I’m going to be torn in this series . Go Kravalanche

  18. hey i mean no one expects us to do anything we’re playing with house money!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOO

  19. Avs fan here. Definitely agree the Kraken will be a tougher first round opponent than the Preds were last year. But ultimately i dont think it will be a long series somehwat due to the fact when the Avs have Mack, Rantanen, Makar, and Toews on the ice those will be the best 4 players on the ice regardless who the kraken have out. But maybe I will be surprised. The kraken definitely have more depth than the Avs or almost any team in the playoffs. Best of luck tonight and throughout the series and go Avs!

  20. Also you are right about Grubauer in the palyoffs for the Avs. He was always very solid and i have good memories of a couple crazy saves he amde along the way. The problem was he always seemed to get injured come playoff time. If he can stay healthy and get hot like he did for the Avs he could definitely steal a game
