The Toronto Maple Leafs didn’t have their best effort in Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Lightning but still found a way to get the victory. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti go over what allowed the Leafs to pull off the improbable win and how important the result was for a few players on the team. Looking at the 3 Stars of the Game, Mike and Dave highlight the performances of Ilya Samsonov, Ryan O’Reilly, Morgan Rielly and Auston Matthews looking deeper into the hit on Brayden Point and the reaction from both teams. To end the show, Mike and Dave look at adjustments Toronto will need to make in Game 4.

  1. sammy looked out of position so many times in this game. he got lucky multiple times with rebounds getting cleared or tampa missing them.

And refs need to be interviewed after every playoff game to explain why their calls are so inconsistent. Otherwise they'll just keep getting away with shit

  2. Freddie Andersen totally played amazing and kept the Leafs in during their series with Boston. Those series should never have gone 7, but he played amazing to get us there. It was the game 7s that he faltered a bit and everyone threw him under the bus.

  3. Heres my comment. Who's stepping up for Mathews after he ate 4 punches? Will it be Mathewa himself? Make him a legend, or RoR?
