Who cares, he's a waste and the Rangers gave him many opportunities and he just didn't want to be a Ranger, he used the Rangers to keep himself in shape and as for excuses from anyone on his behalf that's BS. The FANS should BOO him to death when he comes into MSG.
Isn't this the second or third time he requested a trade? Gauthier requested 2 or more as well. This seems like normal behavior for him. Drury will get something decent for him.
I am one of those guys, he can be on the third line but you play him a game and then let him sit for 5, how are you really suppose to see if he can play or not by not getting anything close to consistent playing time. When he does play they bump him up and down never playing with the same people. Just put him on a line and let him play. At least see if you have something or not. I just think Drury doesn't like him so that's why he has bad usage
Also using your opt out clause that was negotiated in is not quitting on the team it's using what is in your contract and let's remember that Igor had the same clause and the reason they brought him up with Hank and George was because they were afraid he was going to use his opt out clause
If we go into the playoffs with Vesey playing on the second line and JL playing on the 4th we have no shot

This kid thinks the team owes him something. he’s 19 years old and because he’s told he has to go to the minors he takes his toys and goes back to the KHL the first time he did that he should’ve been traded or dropped. This team owes him nothing. He is weak on the puck gets knocked off very easily. He’s not mature and and he’s unable to take constructive criticism.. Goodbye and good riddance spoiled little brat
Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I'm so sick of hearing how good this guy is, but never EVER seeing it in a game. He literally has done nothing productive. Plus he got "injured" twice in the beginning of the season by taking routine body checks. We have no time for a supposed to be good player with a glass skeleton. I say they grant his wish ASAP.
Kravstov is a soft player who never wins board/puck battles in the o-zone and is easily knocked off the puck by opposing players. 28 games 3g 3a is pathetic production for a top 9 forward. Kravstov is a bust! Trade him for Bjugstad and a bag of pucks and be done with him. BUST!!!!!!!!!
Can’t blame him for wanting out. Yeah he had issues before and wanted out. Rangers wouldn’t trade him and he did resign this past summer in hopes of getting serious playing time, Rangers didn’t give it to him so I don’t blame him.

The Rangers should have just shrugged off last seasons remarkable and EXTREMELY profitably playoff run ( 45 million extra in playoff money) and said you know what lets deal Panarin , Kreider and Zban away – see if someone will take Trouba . Then start this season fresh with all kids – fill the top 2 lines ,or what the hell the top 3 lines to the young players . The fans in NY have always been extremely patient non demanding patrons who don't mind the high ticket prices and concession stand prices . Give Chytil top line center duties – it will be fun to watch him win 38% of his draws – because as almost all savvy Ranger fans know -puck possession is totally over rated …

There is one thing I find comforting in Kravtsov's time in NY . Which is that feeling – that sense of entitlement that seems to exist in the young men and women of America is NOT strictly confined here but in Russian youth as well . Awesome !!!
I feel like I’m having flashbacks of Buch…similar in talent but lacks the grit needed for playoff hockey.
i don't get all the hate towards this kid. there's no room for him and he doesn't factor into the future so a trade makes sense. He should be a Top 6 forward and he is never going to get those minutes here so a change of scenery is what's best for him and the team. He's never going to get things going with 10 minutes a night, assuming he isn't a scratch, and no power play looks. He only gets 4th line minutes and he isn't a 4th line player. at this point it is a waste of his career to stick it out. Throwing words like entitled or spoiled or calling him a quitter is unfair. None of us actually know the kid and what's in his head, so when he makes a request to traded or uses his opt-out clause to say "he quit on this team" isn't fair. He never came out and actually said anything publicly. he never dragged Quinn in the media even thought one could argue DQ jerked him around like he did to all of the kids on that team. It is totally fair and reasonable to say that Kravtsov is wasting his career in NY. With Tarasenko now in the room, he is never going to get Top 6 minutes no matter what he does for the rest of season givne that he only gets on the line-up card maybe once every three games. Trade him for an engine room guy, let the kid go and move on and wish him the best. He never did anything to the Rangers except try to play the hand he was dealt, which was a shitty one. Don't be petty and bemoan a 23 year old kid who is trying to make his way into the NHL because he isn't willing to sacrifice his career as a healthy scratch.

We do not develop forwards they have to develop themselves. We do develop goalies and D. Krav could have a hat trick and get the 1st star of the game and Galant would still find a reason to scratch him the next week.

True, nobody wants to hear it anymore. At this point we are much too good and much too tight a team to have to deal with disgruntled employees. I don't blame him for wanting to play I blame him for being disloyal and a distraction to his teammates, there are many injuries every day in this league, anything can and usually does happen. Time for some Parenting: "Shut up do your best collect your pay, your time will come. Acting out lessens your value which lessens the chance you will get what you want. You can tantrum all you like son, no one responds to or wants that in their group" Anyway over the past couple of years we have all heard enough about the Trials of the Crybaby Kravtsov.
