  1. That KHL contract does not matter whatsoever for Michkov…I’m sure y’all know that.

  2. Maybe strategery happens, but do you send Stamkos to get Matthews off the ice? Absolutely, you send an enforcer light to do so. Not Stamkos though.

  3. Isles hopefully get ousted and don’t mount an improbable comeback. Want another quality prospect with their pick.

  4. i feel kinda sad about the U18 tournament getting so little coverage being scheduled during the 1st round.. not even TSN, the ones that broadcast it, can be bothered.

  5. Detroit has no RHC in the system. Lucky there is a boon of 6 rightie centers available: Leonard, Yager, Danielson, Ritchie, Perron, and Nadeau. A great time to have such a selection for RHC, probably 4 will be at the NYI 1st round selection area.
More than a few of mocks have Detroit selecting RW Eduard Sale. Not a physical player, lanky lean, perimeter type, actually pulls up shy along the boards for the poke check, but has scoring ability and offensive IQ. He pretty much is one of most debated players in terms of ceiling for this year.
RHD is also a must. I doubt Reinbacher or Pellikka will be there at the NYI pick, Simashev could be but he is a LHD that seems like adding another is a luxury not needed.
