This wasn’t an isolated incident. I noticed 4 other sections with Bruins fans being escorted out by security. And from the videos and stories around here, there were definitely more.
It’s a cultural thing. That fanbase considers those kinds of actions as fair play. Anyone in attendance notice the high fives he was getting on the way out? The attitude is “fighting isn’t a big deal and if you don’t want to get in one then don’t go to a hockey game”.
People calling them out are saying “you’re a shit person for assaulting someone” but what they’re hearing is “you’re a shit person for defending your team”. The assault doesn’t register as the problem.
And to the people defending the fanbase and claiming it’s not all of them, okay but don’t tell us that. Go tell your fellow Bruins fans and fix it. I’d be embarrassed to be associated with Panthers fans that assaulted other fans, especially at an away game.

Tubby and the guy in the grey both look piss drunk. The other group of Bs I saw get removed by cops were also drunk as shit and stumbling out. I’m all for having beers and a good time, but if you get so drunk you want to fight a guy twice your age you got some issues (looking at you tubby).

I was in a box with my buddy. We weren’t saying a word, two Boston fans yelled up at my friend and I, called us “soft faggots”, then told us they’re going to beat the fuck out of us in the parking lot for having such a shit team (cool?).
Two cops came and grabbed them (one in a headlock) and dragged them out of the arena. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life and we just stayed quiet man. Shitty fucking fans.

Saw this from my seat. Heard the panthers fan is the dad of the in arena host Gabby. Not sure how true it is but the guy is an OG fan who is on the jumbotron all the time. Poor guy and all the kids in the area must have had their experience turned upside down because some jerks couldn’t keep their BS to themselves. I was fortunate to be sitting around mostly tame Boston fans but I encountered a ton of shitty fans walking around the concourse. It must suck to make your entire identity a sports team from a place that you no longer live because you couldn’t hack it. Instead you show up to 1-2 games a year and act like an asshole to the local fans.
