    Stars in 5 for this one! The Wild yes are good, but in my personal opinion playing “GOON” style hockey won’t win in the playoffs!

    As a stars fan I'm thinking this will be the most exciting matchup. I might be a little biased tho haha

    The wildcard sucks. I almost wish they'd base the playoff format on advanced analytics that nobody understands than the wildcard.

    TL;DR – I think Minnesota wins this one but I'd rather Dallas wins.

    I'm conflicted in this one. I'm an Avs fan and Minnesota has been a bit of thorn in the Avs side come playoff time, so my petty side is not a fan. In series' played, Minnesota is 2-1 against the Avs, the first of which they made up a 3 games to 1 deficit in Patrick Roy's last season, so I'd rather see them go down in the first round. That said, Dallas took out a wounded Avs team, in game 7, in overtime, in the 2020 bubble, so I could be a little salty about that, though all that eventually led to some pretty good things last season. I'm a goalie of sorts so I can't talk about this series without mentioning the goalie duel. Fleury's resume speaks for itself. Among goalies he's 3rd all-time in games played, 4th all-time in wins. His play can be inconsistent but he's earned his rings. Gustavsson could absolutely step in as his "Matt Murray" so to speak, if it comes down to it. Oettinger's play against the Flames last year was beyond inspiring. He could absolute tilt things in Dallas' favor if he does that again.

    This one is difficult. Its gonna be tit for tat. I don't want to underestimate the Wild, so Dallas in 7.

    I agree this format stinks. Who wants to see two of the best teams in the Central (and the west for that matter) have to play each other in the first round?
