Lets give some credit to the young gun matthew knies. Out there in ot for game 3 winner, saves a goal from going in game 4 and on the ice for ot winner game 4 aswell.
This kid has been out there for some ginormous, and high pressure situations. How poetic could it get for the kid to score his first goal to help lift leafs into the second round
On that 4-2 Matthew’s goal of note is he also broke away from #10 Point’s back check with explosive speed and effort to get clear and in position….

Going into the 3rd down 4-1 is what made them play looser and to do what they know they are capable of. They looked so tense during most of the game that they couldn't make a play to save their lives. Being down and out allowed them to relax and suddenly, they are playing their game.

As a Boston fan I have to say that was a good comeback win for the TMLs. Good game. They need to close this out on Thursday. Fire and desire ride or die mentality. It’s interesting to me how Matthews gets all the credit when if you watch the game he “just” scored the goals that were set up beautifully by other players. Now I’m not saying he wasn’t part of the reason the comeback happened but he wasn’t the one driving it

They need to start playing complete games instead of 1 period. They're not always going to be able to pull these comebacks.

They way the leafs in the 3rd really started attacking the Tampa d men as the puck was dumped in caused the Leafs to have turnovers and control of the puck.
