That’s the right response. He’s been too good. It shows with how Keefe deployed him in critical moments that the kid is ready for this.
Our 4th line has been getting caved in so I’m expecting Lafferty or ZAR to come out

My guess is Lafferty, not much has been happening with him and it’d be great to have a guy who can score on the 4th line. As much as this sub and Twitter thinks that Bunting is Enemy Number One Who Can’t Control Himself all the sudden (despite never being suspended before), he has a whack of points two years in a row. We actually are a better team with him in the lineup.
I trust whatever Keefe does is the right move
I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that Bunting draws back in at all. And I say this as someone who has a Bunting jersey for my cat.

If bunting could still draw penalties as a fourth liner to really set up or powerplaynthen yah. Maybe t is maybe it isn’t his fault but if nylander can’t get a high sticking penalty and marner can’t get calls on any of the numerous times he was tripped last night I dunno.
I loved he we played through it though. We played to he whistle not the ref. Something bunting just can’t do or won’t do
Knies has been much better than I ever thought. Personally I thought the playoffs would be too overwhelming for him since it’s rare to see rookies make plays under pressure in an intense environment like that. But man he doesn’t look fazed at all and keeps chugging along.
As for Bunting it’s going to be interesting if he even draws back in, I’m thinking he does since he is a 20 goal scorer. Who comes out I have no idea.
Jarnkrok should be scratched for Bunting, but people are all worked up over Bunting. He’s being undervalued because he’s the new Kadri.

As most of you already saw how hard it was to setup the pp against Tampa without the Giraffe and Sandin. They were very good at zone entries. Yes Nylander Marner Mo can still zone entry pretty good but do I need to remind y’all how good Knies is At zone entries? Knies will replace their ability to gain zone plus a lot more.

As much as I don’t want to see Bunting again the guy is of use to the team. If he takes the spot of anybody on the team right now it’s probably ZAR and he gets a short fuckin’ leash to work with. It gives us insane depth on all four lines plus you’ve got that more than capable 13th forward chompin’ at the bit to take a spot from ya.
Keep Bunting out until a change is needed. He’s not a player that going to change things for the better. Keep the lineup the same
