Establishing the Outside Edge | iTrain Hockey

A common error in players learning to use their outside edge thrust in backward crossovers is that they are not establishing their blade onto it’s outside edge enough and at the right time. In single leg backward outside edge kicks, we first get onto the outside edge then we pick up our opposite leg and crossover that edge. First establish the correction conditions and then it’s easy to create grip then thrust and speed!
