I know the majority of fans don't want a "tough guy" but…. As we see time after time after time against the Rangers, the refs could care less. The Pens are lucky Geno wasn't hurt from the hit. With an "older" team the Rangers know exactly what they're doing. If you're physical over & over with big hits you tire them out quicker, just look at last season in the playoffs. It will 100% happen again if we meet up with the Rangers this season in the playoffs. Would a tough guy stop all of it? Maybe not, but…. The refs and the league are CLEARLY not going to do anything about it, we can all see that now. Do I just want simple payback sometimes? Do I just want to see Trouba's face beat to hell sometimes? Yes, yes I do. No other team in the league just folds over when their star player is crosschecked from behind, NO OTHER TEAM. No other team smiles at other players when they continue to crash the goalie every single time the goalie makes a save. There is a reason they do it, they know eventually it might shake Jarry or DeSmith a bit knowing they're coming crashing to the net, maybe he fumbles the puck. The Pens are the only team that allows it every single time he makes a save. We are the softest team in the leage, I 100% believe it has something to do with why we're knocked out of the first round year after year.
"Good but jittery" is the issue I think. I think what the question was is when is Jarry going to make a game saving play to win a game. He's a very good goalie, but, should they have made a move before the deadline instead of assuming DeSmith & Jarry will work for the playoffs? Yes

DK..Could we shed some light on a highly paid, yet poorly productive season thus far from Brian Rust?? Where is the Zuckerlike grit or the fastest man on the ice point totals?

Is it just me or did they play just as well against the islanders in 3/4 of the games they lost to them? Just take a fortunate bounce or two from the islanders and give those to the penguins instead and all of a sudden we’re talking about penguins dominating the islanders
It's all about getting hot at the right time. Jarry missed a lot of time. He should get better with each game. #LETS GO PENS
The league does not care about player safety. Period. Makes Sullivan's and Hackstall's "turn the other cheek" philosophy all the more baffling and infuriating. Yeah, one game is fine, but in a 7 game series it has torpedoed us for 4 straight years.
Just one question? Would you fear the Pens with Jarry in net?
Dk the penguins are good but the goaltending is very suspect. I have seen leads evaporate in the 3rd period.
So far so good DK Keep up the defense let's see what happens.
