  1. Give him 2 for tripping and move on. This was a rep call because it was foligno. Seemed a little much for a 5 AND A game imo

  2. Terrible call by the refs. They're just targeting Foligno and helping the stars out

  3. It almost looks like Foligno was starting to pull away from the check entirely which caused the legs instead of the torsos to collide. What a weird play. Don't think there was any intent there.

  4. Definitely a missed call on this one, just kinda looking at the legs of both guys neither of them actually change path, the contact was inevitable unless someone tried to move out of the way which didn’t happen. Don’t really think either player is at fault there and unfortunately someone got hurt. Foligno shifted his upper body to go for the hit, but his legs never shifted.

  5. Also, NHL rule for kneeing: “Kneeing is the act of a player leading with his knee and in some cases extending his leg outwards to make contact with his opponent.” Not sure if he less with it but whatever

  6. Foligno changed his direction to make that contact. This will be the series that was lost by one player.

  7. Sens fan here lol its a minor penalty. This is a legit joke. Maroon running Mccabe in O.T the other night from behind wasn't even called. Stamkos throwing atleast 4 punching at a defenseless players face with no glove on ( Matthew's not even looking at him) and there not even major penalties.. but this is a game misconduct. Guys theres a clear problem with the game right now. Yeah, this was a minor penalty. The other 2 penalties against him the other night were not. You may not like the guy. But common.

  8. Intentional or not, who really knows. Definitely gotta be smarter though. At the very least he was always gonna get 2 for this…

  9. Man the constant reffing in these playoff is killing the vibes… i know this is a questionnable hit, but man it slows the pace so much its bleh

  10. "It wasn't about even trying to do our jobs with common sense for one night, it was about sending a message".

  11. the major was for kneeing, the game ejection was for comments to the media the other day

  12. Is it that the Wild can't pass the puck and play hockey that they are relying on cheap shots?

I just don't remember this persona, pre-Winnipeg towards the end of the regular season – it smells like desperation from Dean.

  13. Did Faksa milk it for a major? 100%. Doesn't take away the fact that Foligno is an undisciplined liability to the Wild. Stupid penalty after stupid penalty from this guy. Can't wait to hear him whine about this one

  14. The refs have it out for Foligno after he called them out the other night. NHL officiating continues to be a complete joke.

  15. Foligno: sticks right leg out. Eddie O: I don't think he ever stuck his right leg out. Talk about bad calls.

  16. Absolutely correct call!!! These officials have been all over the map with bad or non calls on both teams. However, the Wild are known for their style which has made them one of the most penalized teams in the league and they're paying for their undisciplined play. Now let's be real and call a spade a spade here. EVERY check they make is an attempt to destroy the player and there is clearly intent to try and knock players out especially by Faglino and Dumbo. It's who they are and everyone, players and fans , know it. It's one thing to play hard and tough but it's another when you're trying to hurt another player. I've been watching hockey and a die hard fan for 40+ years and I know this style all too well. I've seen it with the Blues many times over the years and Minnesota is no different. Go ahead and keep up the thuggery and the Stars will keep on scoring PP goals.

  17. I want the same drugs the commentators are having. That was clear as day ejection and they're trying to defend that? Wild got screwed last game yes, but this was just idiotic act by a player who couldnt let it go. Bad calls happen through the playoffs but this wasnt one of them

  18. BULL Penalty never should have been called a MAJOR or Misconduct. BULL GOAL. WATCHING START OF 2D Period and Time to put Flower back in at this point with 3-0 Lead.

  19. It's clear who the NHL would like to see move on to the next round. This is an issue in all sports now. Makes it hard to care…

  20. I basically see 2 guys running into each other one of whom is off balance from jumping in the air. With no leg motion I’m not sure this is even a penalty.
