I don't mind sitting a player our for trade related reasons…it's okay to take your time and to manage your asset…especially with cap and where the league stands(markets such as Tor,Edm,Nyr, and I'll even throw in Wpg) are in desperate need of a big cup Run and time is ticking for these franchises (maybe not NYR or WPG) but you can catch my drift. Prices could be artificially jacked up just do to leverage…
I look as the horvat trade a win more for the NYI but a good hockey trade considering expiring UFA…maybe VAN could of gotten more
The vlad trade… it can only be a W for the Rangers if they make this cup run…I see him as an expensive rental unless they demolish the kid line which would be pretty sever… I do see value in trading kappo and Halak for that cap relief and maybe can get some depth as in Domi, laufuerty, and maybe a pick and or prospect….
