Great trade for the Jets. 20 goals pretty much guaranteed every year. Scores big playoff goals as well.
I think we know Lockwood's ceiling while Kravtsov could never fit into the Rangers' plans. NYR actually wanted Hoglander and Alvin and co. said no way. VAN wins this trade, leveraging NYR's need to clear cap space.

As a Blues fan, the Kravtsov trade bugs the heck out of me. Remember, when Kravtsov demanded a trade before the start of the 2021-22 season, Chris Drury set his asking price of either a 1st or an A-grade prospect. Sure, he was never going to get that, but even recently the speculation was that he could net a 3rd. And it's true, William Lockwood was a 3rd-round pick (#64 overall) for the Canucks in 2016. Still, Doug Armstrong and the Blues settled for Hunter Skinner–another career AHLer unlikely to ever see meaningful NHL action–instead of Kravtsov in the Tarasenko trade. Frankly, I would've let Drury keep Skinner and the conditional 2024 4th and taken Kravtsov instead. Suddenly, that trade is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
For Blues fans hoping Barbashev might net a 1st from the right buyer, the Niedereider trade essentially pops that balloon.

Podkolzin, Mikheyev, Kuzmenko, Kravtsov, Zlodeyev, Kudryatsev, does Klimovich count? I think he’s actually Belorussian, so that’s pretty close…it wouldn’t surprise me if they drafted either Mitchkov, Gulyayev or Simashev. Well we know who Ukraine won’t be cheering for

Great deal for the Jets. Being a Preds fan I would have liked to see a little bit more for Nino, like maybe a 4th on top of that either this year or next. I also would have been open to retaining some contract and getting a 2nd and a 3rd. Especially to help with Dubois's contract coming up
Lockwood is also a UFA after this season.
Vancouver wins with them trying to go younger
Nino Niederreiter at this point in his career became what I thought Viktor Stalberg would develop into. Maybe not the same kind of power forward, but he'll give a team some depth offense. Good pick up for Winnipeg

Kravtsov trade just tells you how valuable cap space is worth. As a Canucks fan, we have to take on 800k of cap space, great!
You’re not supposed to see 1st rounder and cap dump in the same sentence as far as I’m aware
As a preds fan I’m not happy with losing Nino , especially for a draft pick ,
I think part of the Kravstov trade is Vancouver taking on the other half of Kanes contract
