Mcdavid is the best since Mario Lemieux- and Lemieux was the best after Gretzky.

Is Mcdavid on pace to be the 3rd best of all time?

No. Will be hard to surpass Orr and even Howe. On pace for 5th.

Guys a savage. Been a pleasure watching him in hometown colours all these years. I hope he never leaves.

    3rd best?

Did Bobby Orr cease to ever exist? Unless you’re dropping Mario to 4?

Depends on who you ask is the greatest. Lemuiex to some Pens fans is the Great One. I’m not denying Gretzky’s legacy or greatness, however to me Lemuiex would have absolutely crushed Gretzky’s records had he been healthy and not being hooked and assaulted each time he played the puck.

Maybe the 3rd most prolific point producer? Thats a long gap between Mario and McJesus. 87 would like a word.

McDavid is the best hockey player to ever live. It just so happens his timeline aligns with behemoth goaltenders instead of shooter tutors.

Bobby Orr and Gordie Howe would like a word

Difference is Gretzky and lemieux won cups.

McDavid was born in the wrong generation. I’d pay good money to see what he could do in the 80s

He should just change his name to Jim, because he is a beauty!

  11. I think you meant to type “*and Lemiuex was arguably as good as Gretzky*”

Regardless, McJesus is definitely something special to watch. Even with a rise in other point producers hes still so far ahead not to mention the way he does it.

People love to hate on how good he is. Just like everyone did with Crosby.

Why is he lifting his leg up like a dog about to pee on a fire hydrant?

Is Connor Bedard going to be better?

  15. halucinating_koala

And he will never win a cup in Edmonton.

I think he’s the best player in the league right now and will be considered one of the top 5 best players of all time by the time his career is over.
Is he there yet? I don’t think so. Hopefully he wins a cup this year

All these regular season stats are meaningless without the big boy trophy

Pfft. I mean he is McJesus but then what is Drai?

Very weird post. Clearly from a teenager (or younger).

He needs to win a couple of cups. His stats are impressive but without a cup or two it’s doesn’t really do anything
