Arber gives a unique dimension to the Habs that is in my opinion irreplaceable. He's a good defenseman who is able to move the puck, check , shoot , and PUT THE FEAR OF GOD in the opposing players. Yes he has to "pull it back a bit" but who else gives this dimension ? And the "coup des gras" … the fans love him in the same way they loved Subban … he's already a fan favorite.
Xhekaj needs to make the team he makes his teammates more brave knowing that he is on the ice if that makes any sense having the sheriff on their side is uplifting at least mentally
gurlanov, monahan and edmundson need to be traded away
Hands down, WIFI brings it all and Habs need to keep him!
I do NOT want anything to do with Barron and I do want BOTH Harris and Arber.I have zero use for Barron IDC about him getting some points he is a big liability.
NONE of the forwards will cut it in the NHL because NONE will get the ice time to accomplish anything notable.
Sadly the Habs are going to go with Cole Nick and an over rated Dach as the number 1 line.
Pezetta AND Belzile are handy players to have on your 3rd fourth lines.
Slavkovsky is GARBAGE trade him now or you won't get anything for him.
None of these prospects will be impact just because as I stated they will NOT get the ice time or the PP time.
All these OTHER guys will be maximum 30-35 point players and with such a weak first line of Cole Nick and Dach there is no way this team will make the playoffs.
As fans and management we need to quit putting soooo much stock in VERY average players sure you can say they are decent nhl players they will not win us the cup.
No contest for me personally if it were between Xhekaj and Harris.
Xhekaj would be my number one choice, not only because of the confidence he gives the team but because of his skill level as well.
Preferably we can keep both of them somehow though.
Why would Xhekaj not making the Habs roster, he was the best with Guhle.
I would trade all them in package deals and try and get more top end talent legit first line players to compete versus other top teams first liens and that won't be easy.
Geesh it is so frustrating after all these years seeing other teams sporting their top picks are GREAT superstars and we now throw out Slavkovsky …./sigh.Then we are soo desperate for a decent player we over hype boring pointless talent like Dach.
Right now we have MILD hope for top end talent Roy and Hutson and maybe Logan Mailloux if the NHL brass ever let him play in the nhl "I doubt it" the rest are all capped out as maybe second line players loads of third line players.
Yes it has been a nice change of pace seeing some positive direction from management but we are VERY far away from drinking out of the Stanley Cup…VERY far away.

I've never seen the HABS filled with so many prospects and options.
We are in for a great future ahead.
Patience for two more seasons as our rebuild continues IMO.
They will trade harris, ed and waive wideman before xhekaj goes anywhere. Bet on it.
Wifi will make the team. He earned it. Teammates love him. Coaches love him. He brings a presence to the team we have not had in years. He stands up for em all. Opposing teams are not so keen to bully us around the ice with him in the lineup. Plus I already bought his Jersey :D.
Only way to take his spot is to beat him in a fight and I don't see any of the rookies doing that at training camp. There is plenty of others who deserve to get scratched over him.
