  1. The Kraken & the Panthers were the two that I thought could upset in the first round. We shall see, whatever happens the top two seeds will have to earn it.

  2. I must say questioned Paul Maurices decision to go with Bobrovsky instead of Lyon but yeah was the right choice. Florida has made this a series and kudos for not giving up though can't see Boston losing three in a row something that hasn't happened all year. But entertaining none the less and more hockey especially in Florida is good for everyone except the Bruins.

  3. Wow, we really are gonna go down as one of the greatest choke artists in history. Lol. Damn it bruins.

  4. I really don’t understand Ullmark’s style of goaltending lately. It’s like he’s trying to do his worst Hasek impression flopping around like an idiot. The difference is Hasek stopped the puck whilst looking silly Ullmark.

  5. I still think Boston wins the series, but if they don’t, that Ullmark boo-boo will be played on a loop, like the Bergevin “throw the puck in the net” play in the Presidents Trophy winning and first round exiting 2000 Blues. There was plenty of time to recover after that gaffe, but that team didn’t.

  6. What a huge win by the Panthers, especially when it seemed inevitable that Boston would eventually break through in OT to take the series.

Typical Bobrovsky, he can give up 4 goals on 22 shots or he can turn aside 50 and steal you a game. No bigger save than when he stoned Marchand as time expired in regulation.

  7. Glad this series made it to 6. Panthers are no pushover. And at the very least they maybe take a bit of starch out of Boston heading into round 2

  8. Monty: not sure why we got off to a low start. Buddy. You, you are why they got off to a low start. Don’t let’s the shot totals fool you that was the worst game Boston has played all season. Pathetic.

  9. It is really odd how Bob either seems to play at a Vezina level or sub .900 save percentage in the playoffs; there's rarely anything in the middle.

  10. Good morning! Congratulations on 275,000 subscribers. Awesome work Shannon, with a wee bit of help from Yvonne, the cats, and wabbits. Thank. You

  11. Everyone told me Boston would sweep Florida. Everyone told Colorado would sweep Seattle. It's almost like people are lazy in their predictions.

  12. How much of a factor was ice quality? (Sorry THG but I can't bring myself to watch this recap yet, so you may have mentioned this.) Heard before Game 5 that it was expected to be pretty bad ice again (spring hockey the day after a warm-arena Celtics home game). From the parts of the game I watched the puck seemed to rarely be settled and many of the worst turnovers seemed to be the result of panic when the puck wouldn't settle on sticks and a player could see a member of the other team closing in. Normally this is an even 'playing field' for both teams, but in the case of an elimination game for the far dirtier team in a given matchup, I feel as though that panic was worse for Boston last night – they know if they hold the puck they are far more likely to take cheap shots from players like Montour & Tchitfuk… Ironic, since the 'Big Bad Bruins' aura made bad ice a real advantage in Boston for many decades. But this year they are more about 'skill' than intimidation, so the Garden ice seems to really be hurting them in this series.

  13. Shannon
Bobrovsky should get the lion share of the accolades.
On the other end, ullmark is not the great goalie they tell us he is.

As a leafs fan, i remember Austen Matthews going through him , in the same manner as shooting fish In a barrel.

  14. Just like 2015 when most people were certain the capitals would win the cup easily after a monstrous regular season. The playoffs are always a completely different animal. The bruins will win the cup within three tears, but maybe not this year.

  15. We're 2-0 in their building this postseason. Strange you mention we were 1-2 at home but ignore that. Love your content but your attitude on the bruins is shitty. It's even worse that you're a fan. Bad representative of Bruins fans. 0 passion.

  16. Bruins bring a different energy level on the road. Defense is way better on the road. At home I don't know WTF it is but they are sloppy, slow, and less aggressive. Hope we can end it in Florida.

  17. Bummer for Boston that Marchand didn't bury that last second breakaway and that Ulmark uncharacteristically bungled the puck in OT.

in my opinion Bobrovsky really stole the game; he prevailed against a deluge of shots.

  18. this guy gotta be the most negative "fan" ive ever seen. This is a blowout if Bruins don't shoot themselves in the foot time after time just like the last 2 were. I have B's in 6 on my bracket, will probably be much closer than this game but Bruins in 6 stands.
