  1. NICE VIDS BUD ILL MISS COPP WHEN HE WAS TRADED TO SOMEWHERE BUT I HOPE WE MOVE ON ON HIM AND BE BETTER TEAM WITHOUT HIM AND I HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET A GOOD RETURN FROM HIM. GO JETS GO!

  2. I think the trade will be a “hockey deal” wherein we get another player back for Copp (as opposed to a draft pick). My money is on a trade with the Bruins, Copp for DeBrusk.

  3. I heard Rangers might put Lafrenière available for trade and jets one of the teams interested

  4. I'm worried that Copp's concussion issues will scare off any serious interest. I think that he'll be greatly undervalued by other teams calling Chevy.

  5. Yeah and not to mention the Knights have been winning again so the chances of catching them are pretty slim… Need more top notch prospects.

  6. With some rumours earlier in the year about Scheifele being traded and news about the rangers possibly moving LaFrenière maybe a deal goes down there but probably wouldn’t be till the offseason

  7. The addition of Hampus Lindholm (height, weight, intelligence, excellent raise) is a very good move for Don Sweeney even if a very long term contract can always be risky. From now on, Charlie McAvoy will no longer be the only general in defense. Now that the defensive deficiency has just been rectified, it remains to find a level attacker for the second line, to replace Erik Haula who, although an honest worker, does not have the caliber to support David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall. Of course, because of the price paid for Lindholm, we must immediately cross out the names of Tomas Hertl and Rickard Rakell whose contractual requirements will exceed the financial and draft capacities of the Bruins. What other names matching management's expectations remain on the Don's shortlist? In my opinion, only two. Conor Garland and Max Domi. In my opinion, of these two players, Conor Garland is clearly the more talented; however, Max Domi represents a good compromise. Probably much less expensive to acquire, he has the speed, the vision of the game and a "sandpaper" side that is missing on offense (aside from Brad Marchand). That said, Domi is rightly criticized for not being constant and regular in his efforts. Maybe the Bruins DNA would have a positive effect on him. I even think that in the event of the acquisition of Domi, this one should take the place of Jake DeBrusk on the first line; DeBrusk, thus switching to second. But it would all depend on DeBrusk's performance. Therefore, I don't think the Bruins will trade DeBrusk before the offseason because Sweeney would create an even bigger hole in his offense…unless he finds a way to acquire two level forwards. Two level attackers and without emptying the team of its prospects (in my opinion, exchanging prospects would be a very bad idea)? It seems impossible to me. On the other hand, a Max Domi… and a Nicolas Deslauriers to intimidate and ensure the physical protection of the leaders of the team; why not? It is factually possible. In addition, Deslauriers positioned in front of the opposing net is to drive goalies and defenders crazy. The answer: this Monday, February 21, 2022, 3 p.m. (eastern time).
