In 2007 the Anaheim Ducks went to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in their history. Against the first time finalist Ottawa Senators the Ducks won the Stanley Cup for the first time, the first Stanley Cup for the state of California. The Ducks won the series 4-1. Captain Scott Niedermayer won the Conn Smythe Trophy as Playoff MVP.

Some of these Senators became Ducks later on. Heatley, Vermette, Eaves, Emery am I forgetting somebody?
All my Buffalo sabres had to do was beat Ottawa and i truly believe we would have had our first stanley cup .
I dont think anaheim could have went toe to toe with the physical game we played and ryan miller was just so good that year!!!
