  1. Might be fair to criticize the lack of adjustment in some areas. But it’s not like the Oilers are blowing LA out of the water here. This series has been close as fuck with LA in the lead a number of times. That is due to a successful plan laid in place for going against Edmonton. Edm has actually maintained a scary rate of consistency in the offensive zone with grade a scoring chances per game. Averaging about 16 grade a scoring chances per game in key areas that LA has not been able to stop or shut down. That being said, They’ve made plenty of adjustments. Todd has a solid game plan against the oil. He’s laid out a way to neutralize Connor 5 v 5. Slowed down the neutral zone yet they’ve successfully shredded the oil through the neutral zone when they attack. You can’t have it all when you play the Oilers. Coming in with a systematic plan is what he’s done and survival relies on sticking to it. It’s hard to shut down the best players in the world when they are backed up by secondary and third scoring. Todd has done an excellent job. If it wasn’t for having the second nuclear option in Leon, LA is winning the series. Woody has had to make the adjustments to survive more than Todd.

  2. Kinda weird when you're surprised that the Oilers DON'T actually score on the powerplay… This is going to be an intimidating prospect for any team they face.

Having Connor and Leon to defend against at the same time, must cause seizures given humans can't rotate their heads like owls.

They stay out of the box, they'll take this.

  3. Might wanna hold this conversation till after the series is over.

Oiler fans always think the series is over after a
    good performance.

  4. LOL not at all the fault of the 2nd PP unit to come out and skate down the seconds as their opportunities to work together get taken away by the 1st one way too often compare to other teams.
