    One player I should have mentioned, but didn't, is Jake Evans. He would have fell in the top half of this list and I think he's been very underrated for the Canadiens this year. He's really grown his game as he's emerged into the NHL and you can see his confidence grow with each game. I think he is one of the Canadiens best depth players and does not get enough recognition.

    byron is like a worse drouin. kulak and merril are really underappreciated. My only remarks. Also danault is currently the best defensive center in the league measured by advanced stats.

    Lehk is so inept when it comes to hockey iq. Ive never seen him in a dangerous area or making a play and the stats prove it.

    Edmonston should be higher on your list, a defenceman that is not noticed is doing his job, when they make mistakes is when you notice them. That is why you don’t like Petry more. When Petry makes mistakes, not very often, they are big. But his offence makes up for it. And Edmunston has fights this year.

    2. Eh, to heck with hierarchy…honorable mentions include Allen, Ryder 2.0 aka Toffoli, Anderson, and Suzuki. I was a little surprised with your 13. I'd have trouble ranking myself. I'd want to remove myself from consideration.

    It's sad to see that all the pressure and scrutiny finally got to Drouin. I hope he takes all the time he needs to recover and comes back stronger and feeling more at peace.

    Fellow Habs fan here. I must start by saying that this years team is by far the most frustrating team I have ever watched in my 42 years. I agree with a few, and disagree with a few of your rankings. I have quickly become a Corey Perry fan as well. I hated, no DESPISED the guy in the past, and wondered what they were thinking when they signed him. He has most certainly lost a step or two through the years, but he is such a smart player, that can be used in any situation. I think Weber is used wrong for where his skill set is nowadays. I feel he is also a smart player, and can adapt his game, the way Andrei Markov did after he lost a step, but the coaching staff are so dependent on him to be the player he was a few years ago. They need to let Petry and Romanov take over the PP, and just let Weber move back to the 2nd or even 3rd pairing. He still has a cannon, but just can't quite be the QB anymore. And, as a fellow goalie, I just see Price struggle with confidence sometimes. He's my favorite player in the league, and has been for years, but I think his issues are 100% confidence. I have seen him go through similar struggles throughout his entire career. I'm sure he will snap out of it. Although, I have loved most of the moves Marc Bergevin has made the last couple years, I think his time is up. He just keeps putting a mediocre product on the ice every year, and they need someone else to put them over the top.

    Suzuki cant win a face-off, he gets knocked off the puck every time, he gives away the puck a ton. At times he lacks effort and energy. He hasn't learned to play every minute, though he is on a nice offensive streak now, but negates it with penalties, turn-overs and face-off loses. KK is so much better, but doesn't get the opportunities. Just my opinion

    You trashed talked the majority of the team and you claim they have no chance at the cup. I think you should just become a leafs fan already or something. You dont even like or believe in your own team.
