Jets won’t fire Bones or Chevy. To cheap and no balls. They didn’t even fire last season’s coaching staff.
Personally I would kick Chevys ass out right now, he needs to go badly. I agree with Scott, this is deja vous. He has had 12 years and what are the results – ZERO. He should be held responsible holding pat on the same players for this season after failing last season. He is also a pompus ass and most secretive gm in the league. Bones is a good coach and basically had this team in 1st in the west with half of his team missing in the first half of the season. He ran into the same problem as Paul Maurice but Paul walked away instead of talking. I would fire Chevy and make Bones the gm. After that ridiculous extended 11 day All star break they tanked until the last few games of the season. I think 55 is the poison in the room that needs to go. PLD is a good player if he is engaged but disappeared in the playoffs – get what you can for him. 26 has given everything he has to this team but it might be time to send him to the desert. 37 played average in the playoffs, he did get them into the playoffs but they may have burnt him out on the way. If you look at his play off numbers they are not good. I wouldn't be spending 10 mil on him or any goalie so I would move him to Detroit while they can get something for him. In the end this is Winnipeg and Chipman who also is at fault having too much trust in Chevy will probably leave Chevy there to save a few sheckles and Chevy won't do squat so we will be in the same position next year. f we could have a team of Nino's with his work ethic we would be golden.

In Calgary, several players said they wanted out if Darryl Sutter returns while in Winnipeg, Rick Bowness might retire if several core players aren’t moved.
Who would you hire to replace Kevin Cheveldayoff?
This clearly justifies why Paul Maurice left.

Bowness knows team if ehlers, Connor, Schmidt, Dillion, Demelo, Wheeler, Hellebuyck, Pionk,Stanley,Neidereitter want to go they will be gone…
I also don't mind having young tram whoever we draft this year or trade players for/UFA,along with Lambert,Mcgroarty, Lucius,Heinola, Perfetti, ect it would give fans hope instead bringing back same old players and expecting different result.
