Watch as a potential go-ahead goal for the Boston Bruins is overturned following review for a hand pass, which showed Jake DeBrusk grazing the puck with his glove on the ice moments before the goal.

Great call
Rules are rules and whether the chose to enforce it or not is up to the refs.
Not a hand pass according to rules 67.1 and 79.1
Absolutely absurd call.
Can we fire the entire NHL reffing staff and just overhaul the whole damn thing? This is seriously ridiculous. I don't even give a crap who wins… I'm a redwings fan. This is just absurdly zealous enforcement of technicalities.
Seriously hand passes need to be evaluated with same technique (bring in the mathematical psychology evaluation ) to determine intent like skate bounce lol nhl just can't get it right sad sad sad
What people are misunderstanding about the rule is that no where does it say that the pass has to be intentional. Just like any other Stick/Body infractions you are responsible for your own Stick/Hand/Skates. Was it intentional probably not, but did it touch his glove….Yes
I was under the impression that if the puck thouches the glove of a player, and then one of his teammates gains possession of the puck that it's a hand pass. Everybody seems to think that this isnt a hand pass. What am I missing?
That's a bs call.
Garbage call. Would be sad if this decides the series
NHL IS A JOKE
Oof. That's rough. Same thing happened to Jets last night. They actually seemed poised to make a potential comeback and their goal got overturned due to a very vague possible hand pass. Totally motivated the Knights.
I sure hope Boston wims. Terrible for that call to change the outcome of the game.
Thought they were reviewing it because Marchand bumped into the goalie.
I do agree with most commenters that the current use for challenge is getting a little beyond the spirit of the initial reasoning for it. No denial that this was – technically – a hand pass, but let's all be honest, going back many seconds to an event where a puck brushed a finger and was immediately picked up by another player – as it would have been regardless – is not helping the game.
Commentators should be fired… and given new jobs at CNN or MSNBC
Im definitely not a Bruins fan but thats a bad call.
Idk this is a bit much, challenge the air for being too cold which led to a goal
All those trophies for nothing getting beat and giving up lots of goals regular season team joke
Another president trophy team gonna get hounced in rhe first round. U watch. I am so glad i got invested in this season.
I can break the goalies concentration with a punch to the head – GOOD GOAL. If, however, I was 1 millimeter off-sides when I crossed the blue, NO GOAL. NHL officiating has ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY!
That's clearly a hand pass why are people crying?
It's clearly a hand pass. I'd almost say he intentionally tried to do it while making it look like he was grabbing his stick. Watch his reaction on the bench. No surprise whatsoever. If I was a Bruins fan, I'd be more upset about the two crosschecks that didn't get called, haha.
I hate the Bruins but THIS IS SOME BUUUULLLLSSSSHHHHIIIIIIT!
JOE GOING TO BE PRESIDENT 2024 WITH 1,7 TRILLIONS , NHL IS LEAGUE OF LGBTQ++ PRIDE REFF
Funny but it is hand pass 😢
HAND PASS BY GRABING HE STICK , WHERE THE DOUBLE CHECK ON HIS BACK, BLIND REFF EVENT WITH VIDEO NOT CONCLUSIVE!!!
gary bettman makes millions of more dollars more if this series goes to game 7 and wow did it show tonight if that's a hand pass than I dont know what this league is anymore what a joke
its over bruins fans, time to start crying and blame the refs as usual, and NOT you vastly overrated team with NO GOALIES
Panthers win sunday 11-1 the bruins dumb coach finally decided to pull ullmark the failure, and boston fans set their city on fire
B's suck. Don't put Swayman in just let Ullmark do his Tuukka impersonation. Bergeron should've just called it a day instead of breaking records and choking in the first round again
Referees deciding games
Lmao nhl is turning into the nfl
Must have been the Boston commentators live feed… he must have said “He was just trying to grab his stick” about 10 times, as if to will it into the refs LOL!. No, he wasn’t just trying to grab his stick. While the hand pass was subtle, it was deliberate and he knew exactly what he was doing.
Intent doesn't matter, if you push the puck to a teammate with your hand, even if "by accident", it's a hand pass.
The worst call of this game wasn't the officials, it was Jim Montgomery leaving Ullmark in the cage after that 5th Panthers goal.
What a joke, still didnt deserve to win but still an awful call especially after that "non high stick" we saw in Tampa vs Toronto
the nhl scripts are rigged, sports have had the worst downfall. not even the bruins its the league wanted more money
Here’s a fun fact you maybe first in the regular season but that mean absolutely nothing in the playoffs
