Russo picked us to lose in 6. LaPanta in 7. Dom gave us a 39% of winning. Vegas said we’d lose as well. Yet somehow there are Wild fans who ignored all that and more, got their hopes up, and want to fire Guerin for putting together a team that finished with over 100 points without a 1C and $12M to work with. Fire the coach, sure. But not Geurin. Don’t strip the C. Don’t trade Rossi. And most importantly don’t fuck this up for the rest of us with your negativity and impatience. Best GM in franchise history. Look in the fucking mirror and check your own expectations. Seems like they ran away from a lot of you.
I’m not mad, just disappointed.
This will be every playoffs ever until the Wild tank for a top 3 pick and get a elite scoring center. All the cap space in the world in 2 years isn’t going to help when you can’t buy those.

Special teams, a stubborn coach, and lack of star power killed us. Guerin won’t fire Dean this offseason, but I haven’t seen any evidence that he is the right coach that will help us compete for a Stanley Cup.
Whatever you think of the Fleury decision in Game 2, there’s no doubt it had a massive impact on that game. They treated it like a throwaway/regular season game when they could have taken a 2-0 lead.
Waits until Game 6 to make lineup changes, similar to last year with the Talbot switch.
Started the series with a focus on playing the body, then that style seemed to disappear the further the series went.
Not sure what to think of this one, but my faith in this entire coaching staff is very low. They seem to get worse as the playoffs go along against seasoned coaching staffs.
