Masters on Game 6: ‘The mental side of this game is going to be so huge now over the next 48 hours’

  1. A game 5 when you’re up 3-1 should be the least pressure game to play in a series. They played as if it was game 7 and there was no room for error tonight. The pace they end every game with needed to be how they played from puck drop. Just attack mode all game even if it meant giving up the occasional odd man rush.
Hopefully they find a way to play a full 60mins on Saturday because it’s going to take a complete effort to close this series.

  2. Its crazy to think Tampa wouldnt come give it their all. They played chippy and tight and fast. I think its time the Leafs do the same.

  3. I'm favoured, $230K every 4weeks! I can now afford anything and also support God's work and the church.

  4. When we are all crying in our beer on Monday the one play that will come to mind will be Mitch Marner standing there arguing with the referee while Ryan O'Reilly is getting assaulted by two Tampa Bay players.. GUTLESS .. sure Mitch picks up a lot of pretty points but has he ever got a point where he had to muck it out .. really sacrifice some of his body for a teammate.. NEVER .. and the team sees this .. it's time Mitch disappears as always deep in the first round .. then all you so-called fans will gush over him during the entire regular season next year .. 10 points does look good but look deeper ..

  5. Leafs are lucky to even be in this series. Played good in1 out of 5 so they better bring it now because if not, heads will fall.

  6. If the Leafs don’t win game 6 the fans will feel like a leaf in a lightning storm in game 7, falling and can’t get up. 😂

  7. Maybe Leaf fans should just give up on the playoffs and enjoy good regular seasons. That is what this Leaf core does – in its outcomes.

  8. Tampa is a better team with 2 cups in the past 3 years. Leafs always play the best team in the first round, so their streak of losing means nothing. Time to wake up and not blame the leaf stars for the losses. They are a good regular season team.

  9. 2 problems Sheldon Keefe should be replaced by Jason Spezza immediately before it's too late and Holl and Kerfoot should be removed for good…

  10. Media and fans always like to point out players.. Its hardly ever about the players.. Its about the management that brings them in and that coaches them. In the last 20 years Leafs have had Brutally run inclusive of Shanhan and dubas.. The media never targets them. they go away scott Free. Remember Kessel, Bozak, Steen, Kadri and how they were collectively part of a miserable group in Toronto? Well it turns out those players are exceptional. the inept management coaches failed miserably to get the job Done. Keefe, Dubas and Shanahan are no exception

  11. The Leafs, definitely dejected after that loss.
The picture of Keefe, after the game … deer in the headlights look.
We got two guys with fresh legs … use them.
Go to the wall in game 6.
Leave everything you’ve got On the ice.

  12. As someone who is 74 years old I was hoping to see them win one more cup . Looks like I'm going to run out of time!!!.

  13. Torontos has the pressure of winning and Tampa has the pressure of winning at home to keep them alive. Gonna be a great game but go leafs

  14. Keefe is a straight up trash coach, we have crazy defensive depth with liligren and gustavson on the bench and he still chooses to put a bum like justin holl out there. Plus benching one of your top 5 scorers based on superstition when your 4th line has been invisible. Win or lose hope hes fired next season. But lets be honest Tampa in 7 is a lock.

  15. I think the leaf’s get paralysis from analysis 🧐, they should just get a good nights sleep ,show up at the rink and play wide open run and gun hockey , like a skilled team should.
