On today’s episode of Locked on Wild, we preview tonight’s Game 5 as the series shifts back to Dallas. We look at where things stand for the Wild after a Game 4 in which they came up short on a few key opportunities but otherwise were right in the game as they have been most of the series. We do look at one area in which the Wild could make a tweak that would help them out, that being Gustav Nyquist who has been very good so far for the Wild. We look at why he may be able to offer more if he gets more minutes. That could be achieved by putting him higher up in the lineup, such as on the second line in place of Sam Steel. If Mats Zuccarello isn’t being moved off the top line, Nyquist, Boldy and Johansson all have center experience and Nyquist’s playmaking abilities could go a long way toward helping get Matt Boldy going. We also look at if Nyquist could help out on the top Power Play. We finish the show by talking about the need for Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy to have their “takeover games” and some more in-game adjustments for Dean Evason!

I still don't understand why Sundquist isnt playing unless injuries.
Nyquist was used incorrectly from the get go yet he's done well and has earned more ice time.

Less passes to be pretty or just to pass! Less hitting just to hit! Foligno needs to hit more when he can dislodge pucks more-so so we can get pucks to the net with chaos in front. Go high blocker on Ottenger! Look how many goals were high blocker! Pretend there's a 3 foot by 6 foot plywood sheet tacked up instead of a goalie!! Assume it on every shot especially close in!!!
