Without hesitation, Belichick would have started Swayman in game 6, kept Grizz in instead of Clinton, and kept out Kreech since he slows down the game. Panthers bring the Bruins D man down near the line and Florida brings a man down the middle and he's wide open for a goal…
I can’t think of a good reason that you sub Griz for Clifton. He and Mac we’re seemingly the most productive D pairing.

Guys Swayman was only top 5 in GAA, SV%, and SO in the league this year. We couldn't possible risk playing a liability like that in the playoffs!
this is why the playoffs are called "the second season"… a team's accomplishments during the regular season don't matter going into the playoffs… everyone is starting from the same spot, 0-0. And yes, when a team makes a mistake it is usually "self-inflicted." The margin of error is so slim that the team that makes the fewest mistakes usually wins the series.

If you’re the highest ranking #1 seed in playoff history, and you have the #1 and #4 overall goalies in the league, you stick with whatever rotation you had prior to the playoffs because you are playing the #8 seed. Especially with 2 inexperienced goalies- this gives both guys a chance to acclimate to playoff hockey and keeps them both engaged but also fresh. I feel like I’ve been screaming this into the void since the last 2 weeks of the regular season when all the talking heads started beating the drum for 100% Ullmark. At no point does that strategy make sense.
The mishandling of the goalie situation plus the inexplicable mishandling of the lines and the D-pairings… this situation is 100% on Monty. Like he’s trying to be the smartest guy in the room and create a whole new team- all that does is create anxiety. It’s like the Krejci Bergeron injuries gave him license to turn the lines into his personal sandbox. Just roll out the best team in modern history and let them win!
Bruins should have put swayman in game 6. After that horrible play by ullmark in OT. Go, Bruins !
Ullmark doesn't appear to be a playoff-worthy goal tender, with just 3 wins in 8 games. Sway should have started game 5 if only to give Ullmark a rest. I hope it's not too late. Florida has all the momentum, and Ullmark is clearly rattled.

It was hard decision last week about changing goalies however I think it should be an easy one after the last two games! I think the problem is more mental and can’t be fix by Sunday!!

If the bruins lose game 7 they need to fire all coaches get rid of all the veteran players and start all over. A lose of game 7 will be the biggest chock in NHL history. Bruins won the most games in NHL history too lose in the first round not good.

I agree that Ullmark has not looked good, but look at the atrocious plays by both Clifton and Forbort that led to goals in game 6. Our defense is hanging Ullmark out to dry on some of these plays.

It was an easy decision. Play Swayman in game 6 and if he struggles you can go back to Ullmark for game 7. OOPS too late to do that now.
Ullmark is clearly a mental midget. This is two years in a row. I wouldn’t touch him the rest of the playoffs if they’re lucky enough to win another game.

It's their defense. They've been awful
The whole year the coach inserted swayman about every 4th/5th game, it's part of their seasons success, swayman should've been put in maybe the 4th or 5th game, not because ullmark was playing bad, just because that's how they've won, 2 excellent goalies, I'm playoffs many teams ride with 1 goalie, I think the B's should've kept that same rotation as in the reg season, now it's a guessing game, this series should've been over, now the Panthers have huge momentum swing, I'm Boston born old man ex hockey player and I'm very nervous.
The fact that you are even in this position (game 7 against the Panthers) after the regular season you guys had is an embarrassment.
