Hellebuyck on his Jets Future: ‘I’m not interested in a rebuild’



When asked about his future with the Winnipeg Jets, goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was emphatic: The only thing he wants is a Stanley Cup, and so he made it clear to the media that he is not interested in the club going through a rebuild. Hellebuyck, Blake Wheeler, and Mark Scheifele all addressed their uncertain futures with the Jets.

  1. Such a good guy. Hope he goes to a good team. I can't see him playing for Winnipeg anymore. He has to tell by looking his face

  2. Who’d blame him? He’s on a team that doesn’t have a good culture and he hasn’t made it far in the playoffs in recent years

  3. I hope Detroit can make a trade and bring Connor and Kyle back home to Michigan. They would look great out there with Larkin and Copp.

  4. Oilers should go all out after this guy. I’m talking throw two firsts, and a couple really good prospects for this guy. OVERPAY for this guy. I truly believe with a tendy like Hellebyuck there’s no way they won’t win a cup

  5. And thats the problem…….some of these guys r tight….and that doesn’t win a cup.
