With players like Ehlers, PLD, Connor, Scheifele, Morrissey, Wheeler, Hellebuyck & Niederreiter it’s mind boggling how they lose. Who would have thought that all this time Evander Kane wasn’t the cancer on the Jets team and it was actually Paul Maurice, Blake Wheeler and Mark Schieifele who were the problem with this team all along and they drove Kane, Laine, Trouba, Roslovic out and Buff to quit rather than play with those two
The Blame lies with Wheeler and Schieifele, the two most toxic selfish players in the league. Paul Maurice all this years and Chevy were to blame too because they condoned and encouraged Wheeler and Schieifele to divide the locker room and bully Laine.

Helly is too good for this team tbh. If he goes to a top 10 contender next next year I’m putting my money on them, he’s that good. Plays more games in the season than any other goalie, already has a Vez, consistent every single night, held the team together with half the D core we should have and half the team playing defensively. Ever since they lost to Vegas in 2018, this has been inevitable. I really just don’t want to see happen to Helly what happened to CP in Montreal. The entire team’s record should not be on the goalie. I think Bowness what right. Some of these guys have been playing to get traded a long time ago. And if he’s saying this kind of stuff to the press, imagine what’s being said behind closed doors.

as a fan im glad someone from TNSE has finally said what we the fans have been saying since the 2018 run. THe core is rotten, yes they are talented players but no heart or soul. Hellebyuck is the heart of the team, hes the only reason why the jets made it to the playoffs.

I’m looking forward to the jets prospects coming up. Real good looks out of Lambert, McGroarty, Lucious, Heinola, and goalie Arvid Holm. I think we need to embrace the rebuild and let our young players develop into the great NHL players they have the potential to be.

I love that he did this. People forget None of the players will be fired. The coach can easily be dropped. Paul Maurice saw it and walked away from a fairly secure coaching job in Winnipeg. There is obviously an issue in the room that the coach can't fix. There needs to be a huge shake up for the players.

I'm a golden knights fan and I would just like to say the Winnipeg Jets, are a good team they're not that far from being a great team, if you look at the goals scored and goals allowed from last season they're right up there with the best, the western conference is a lot tougher than the East I believe anyway, there's four or five teams that could win the Stanley cup.
