    Nah tbh I’m shocked and impressed that this smoked out core made it this far into the series. Sucks since Torontos fanbase is super salty to everything. Just look forward to the future and everything this team is cable able of and who knows what we can do. Even if this is the end of the glory days, we went out with a bang.

    Good game for both teams as a die hard lighting fan since 2004. But the leafs deserve to win the game because they really want to break the 19 drought playoff curse. And they did today and now they are in the second round getting ready to play against the bruins or the Panthers. Good series for the leafs respect them for winning the game and so does the die hard fans of the maple leafs you guys deserve this win. But hey still good game leafs good luck to you guys and go lighting still.

    Happy birthday jpw03! This was a solid game, we cant always win we had our time and it is sad we lost but we had a god season with loads of memorys. Stammer had his shining season with 500 career goals, 1000 games and 1000 assists.

    Why can’t Tampa finish on home ice??? Seriously, look at the last 5 playoff games in Tampa. Bolts lost in OT to Colorado in game 4, lost the cup in Tampa in game 6 and then lose 3 games in Tampa this series. Congrats Toronto

    What a likeable kid. Happy for my Leafs but what a series. This was the most entertaining series of the first round by a country mile.

    Toronto won all 3 OT games they dug deep and earned it. i hope Toronto wins the cup this year or Panthers, its been long overdue. 🏆
    As a fan I'm satisfied with back to back 🏆🏆 cups but 1 🏆 more will make them a dynasty team.

    Very fun season glad to see it come to an end so soon for the bolts. But they deserve some rest and I believe that’ll help them next year in the long run. Thank you for all the great post game recaps I always enjoy checking them out! Happy birthday as well!
