Today was a big day for the Montreal Canadiens. It was decision day on what to do with recently OfferSheeted Jesperi Kotkaniemi from the Carolina Hurricanes. Was Bergevin going to match it or take the picks as compensation and flip them in a trade for a roster player to fill that void. Theres been trade rumors swirling with Christian Dvorak and those rumours came true.
Later in the night the Habs traded draft picks to the Arizona Coyotes for Forward Christian Dvorak. Dvorak will fit in right in that number 2 center slot and really deepen this Canadiens roster. I talk about all this in the video and go over Dvorak and his stats.

Made a mistake when I mentioned the picks. Capfriendly shows 3 3rd round picks in 2022 and they dont have a 2nd in 2024 because of this trade.

Thanks for the great reviews pertaining to Montreal. I think this trade was a really solid move but seems to suggest that Eichel isnt coming. Perhaps MB adds someone else once Webers cap space is put on the LTIR
