the L.A. kings really worked their asses off to try to win this game, from diving to keep pucks out to skating and shooting like their lives depended on it, you really couldn't ask much more from a team trying so hard to force a game 7. skinner did really well stopping so many shots, even if that fumble with the puck which lead to a goal was a little embarrassing.
edit, turns out skinners "fumble" was his stick being broken and not being aware of it, just plain unlucky.

Byefield isn’t ready for the NHL. He’s too young (20) and cost the Kings multiple goals per game on bad defensive dwing coverage. He needs to be sent down another year or two to the Ontario Reign. Great player but not ready at all for the playoffs

I am sorry, but i am so PISSED off. The Kings defence the last 3 games has been some of the worst i've seen in a playoff.
How on EARTH can you just stand and look? Constantly allowing the Oilers to create space and opportunities. Zero pressure, zero skating, just watching in their own zone.
Pathetic, and if i was the owner of L.A, a pay cut would be something the players would take on their vacation. Losers.

So glad to see the series winner goes to the diminutive Yamamoto. The guy plays all out and has had a few injury problems. People sometimes expect players to just return from injuries at 100%, but that’s not how it works. Kane and Yamamoto are not up to full power but they’re very good players and you never know when they’ll make a difference.
Where are all the salty kings fans now?🤣 i never doubted the oilers ! (Iam lying)
