  1. Seems more obvious all the time the plan was to go all in on the upcoming season if the Jets were able to sign Trotz. Hard to believe Chevy would've done nothing with the roster if Trotz would've come here.

Instead, it looks as though tnse went to Plan B: which is a rebuild that's intended not to look like an obvious rebuild. I'm guessing by this time next year 37, 26, 55, 80 are all traded for picks & prospects.

Next year it will be time for Perfetti, Lucius, Ville, Samberg and a couple Russians(?) to be permanent fixtures in the lineup.

  2. Jets HAVE A MILLION AMAZING YOUNG PROSPECTS WE DID NOT NEED ANY OF THESE PLAYERS THAT LEFT THEY WERE ALL JUNK ANYWAY.

THESE YOUNG PLAYERS ARE 10X BETTER THAN THE GUYS THAT LEFT

  3. Stastny probably believed Jets have better chance of contending for Bedard sweepstakes than making the playoffs, lol!!!

  4. here's my proposed trade to open up a spot on the defense: Dillon + draft pick to the Islanders for Oliver Whalstrom.

  5. Amazing how Chevy gets a free pass there. Refuses to acknowledge a divided locker room and do anything about it. He would get absolutely roasted in other hockey cities. He’s very good at hiding from media there.

  6. I actually hope we finish in the bottom 5 this season, maybe then it'll open the eyes of this incredibly dense and borderline incompetent management who are absolutely bent on their failed "loyalty first" approach that TNSE builds – and neither Mark Chipman or Chevy can see how they're driving away players and fans and now they have the same divided toxic locker room that Cody Eakin (who's from here) said was the most toxic he has ever been in. That "loyalty" approach works for the AHL at best, not the big leagues. Im part of a group who shares half seasons, have been since 2011, and we're not renewing after this season – because what's the point and most people in my group were Jets fans in the 90s when it was rough. TNSE is failing this team – truth be told.

  7. I don't think Paul wanted to be around for any more of the drama that surrounds the Jets.

  8. Just watching the McIntyre segment. We have to remember that Chipman, in a year-end interview, said that the team was not going to be "reactionary" over what happened last season. It was clear he did not seem to have an appetite for big changes. So what we have seen this past summer is that non-reactionary approach playing out. What it will lead to is anyone's guess. I agree it will not likely be boring.
