  1. Did he broke the fibula in his brief attempt to play game3? Otherwise I don’t see how he was even allowed to play. Well hope everything is ok and he will be back stronger than before.

Not that it likely would’ve made a difference but it seems irresponsible to put him on the ice for game 3. Even if him playing on it wouldn’t have made it worse, why use a roster spot on someone with a broken leg?

If you weren’t questioning the coaching staff before this….

Why do we get such vague injury reporting? They said he had a lower body injury not a broken leg.

I just found my last straw with Dean and this coaching staff. If you have not found it yet, here it is.

    Un fucking believably.

I broke my leg in February and had the surgery to put the rod put in that week, and I still can’t walk unassisted. Cane and walking boot.

I hope to be back on the ice late June, but it isnt looking good.

  7. Why did the wild let him even try to play on a broken leg

The fibula is a non-weight bearing bone, so you’ll often see professional athletes play through the injury. However, hockey may be one of the only sports where it is weight bearing. For him to suit up meant he showed in practice he could deal with it; however, it is a controlled environment.

If he showed (in practice) he could go, if he felt comfortable he could go, and the training staff felt comfortable in all of the above, I put no blame on the coaching staff or management.
