Adin Hill made 29 saves to earn his first NHL shutout, and three different players scored for the Coyotes in a 3-0 win against the Predators

  1. If the Coyotes make the playoffs and Nashville has to play them, I bet Arizona would probably win or at least hang on for most of the series.

  2. Man Coyotes are weird this season. Sitting in the bottom quarter of the league, losing to other bottom teams, but still ripping apart the leaders like Tampa, Nashville, Columbus, etc.

  3. On that sprawling attempt by Hill, I first thought, "Wow, Hill was lucky", as I thought the puck his the post. But when the slow-mo showed that he basically punched the puck away as he sprawled, I got a new appreciation for it, because that was impressive. And Josi looked bad on that Schmaltz goal. Practically caught watching and moved out of the way to give Schmaltz a clear shot, only leaving his stick on the ice behind him. Some good pushes by the Preds, who are a very talented team, but the Coyotes wanted the win more.

  4. Coyotes to the Predators is kryptonite to superman. Arizona does well against Nashville most of the time.
