Fun Fact: Players names stay on the Cup for 52 to 65 years depending on where they are added to the current band.
The oldest team on there now is the 1966 Montrel Canadians (i believe) and they won’t be coming off until 2030 when the current oldest band is removed from the top so a new one can be added to the bottom.
I will likely be dead before the 2022 Avs names are off the cup.

• Helm/Landeskog don’t return for start of season
• Nuke/Byram/Manson/Makar/EJ all out for extended stretches
• Mack missed most of December
• Frankie hurt for the end of the season
• Find out the Captain isn’t returning
• JJ plays 85 regular season games gets hurt in warmups of GM1
• Helm makes a return in GM2 crosschecked and back out
• Whatever with Nuke
• Makar suspended
• Cogliano broke his neck (Fuck Parros)
• Last certainly not least the passing of Peter towards the start of the season
I’m sure I missed a lot. Finishing last season with the Cup certainly made the heartbreak of leaving that building last night a lot easier. Boys will be right back in the thick of it next season hopefully the hockey gods are with them this time!

Cursed season still resulted in taking the division championship away from Stars and Mild. I’d say that’s a solid effort!
