As a neutral fan I think Leafs will take it but it'll be close. Both teams will be energized by their first round success- TML getting passed Tampa finally and out if that first round first time since 2004, Panthers eliminating the record setting Bruins team.
I think TML have the weapons and horses to take this, but Panthers won't be easy and Tkachuk is a huge xfactor. He dragged them into the fight all series and willed them to success.
Think on this….Brandon Montour was acquired for a 3rd round pick from the Ducks in 2021… based on how he's playing, if the Panthers go all the way, he'd be in the Conn Smythe conversation. Tanner Jeannot was acquired from the Preds for 5 PICKS…INCLUDING the Panthers 2025 1st rounder. He had one (big) goal in the Leaf series but was benched by Cooper in game 6. Who TF EVER KNOWS how this stuff shakes out. Hockey really is a crazy game!
Panthers are going to the final. Montreal did, Oiler did in 06. Beating first place after scraping into the playoffs is a huge boost

It’s been a tough day as a bruins fan but with that being said, what’s done is done and now I can’t believe I’m going to say this because of my overall dislike for the leafs BUT go win the championship! It’s your time to shine. Steve you’re the absolute man and I hope you get to enjoy seeing your team lift the cup! Would love to see that video. Go get it!
Florida was one of the highest scoring teams last year but of bourse the law of probabilities meant they would come back down to earth.However they seem to have bounced back and scoring at a better pace.
I did not flat out say the Bruins would lose however I did say they were not as good as elite teams from years gone by I stated they were very beatable.
