  1. Thanks Michael and Skylar for this great review of the game especially for your insights on Helle’s game and Vegas’ bounce back victory…I sure hope Skylar is right and the Jets return to Tuesday’s form for the next two WHITE OUT games … Go Jets Go!

  2. The lack of consistency is the one bothersome aspect of this team, Consistently inconsistent. A microcosm of what this season has been.

  3. Jets were sloppy. Shieffle allowed a goal because he did not take his man/stick. To many passes on one of the power plays back and forth instead of shooting the puck. You can’t score if you don’t shoot.

  4. Should have been a challenge on the 4th goal looked like an offside to me. Thought the refs put whistles away in the playoffs The did a great job breaking up Andy Jets momentum in the 2,3 periods…….

  5. Series just got alot more interesting. Vegas is also a MUCH better road team than they are a home team.

  6. Seems awfully convenient how eager they were to call penalties when Vegas was down, then immediately put the whistles away when it was reversed

  7. Jets fell off midway thru 2nd period Helle can't do it all on his own…..#55 & #80 were no where

  8. I was very apprehensive going into this game, I guess after 2018, I just wanted them to get the second win. I’m not gonna say the refs decided the game but I think there was certainly a couple soft calls against the Jets. That being said, the Jets need to play better than they did in the second half of this game. Hopefully coming home will re-ignite them. Not giving up on my team. Go Jets Go!

  9. after 2 g ames, jets outplayed knights 4 to 4.5 periods to vgn 1.5 to 2 periods. keep this up boys, keep us believin!!!!

  10. they needed to score that second goal but it didn't come…..we tied it up and going into the third tied at 2 we were still in good shape…..However we didn't score and they were able to change the momentum…..Lowry shows why he should be captain as he is sooo consistent. Dubois and Scheifele were not dominant and why is that??

  11. Vegas offence goes as does Mark Stone….he's a warrior and the Jets will have to contain him if they want to win this series.

  12. at some point the Jets will face adversity and will need to be able to mount a comeback to win a game…..this will require an all out effort and contributions from their best players as well. The inconsistency is troublesome and Vegas knows this. Mark Stone is captain of the Knights for a reason….he needs to be contained as he is key to their offence

  13. Hey Remo and Skylar.. my thoughts? After Helle got smacked with that puck, things appeared to go wrong. I thought he should have been checked out b/c the way he was bleeding didn't look good and I'd have concern about a concussion. What I also saw was alot of self-inflicted problems, doing the ring around the O zone always resulted in turnovers.. there was very little carry-in of the puck going on once Vegas had scored. It gave the boys fits, they couldn't gain entry much so Brossoit didn't have the volume of shots he did in the 1st game.

The penalties also played a role.

Really good thoughts by both of you.. thanks for the "debrief" post game!

  14. Playoff hockey. Clock resets and score resets to 0-0 regardless of what happened previous game. Watch any series and look at the Jets series wins/losses and it is always a little thing here, sometimes luck, often an error or series of errors where things go in the other direction. In this one Jets really needed the second goal either in the first or early second to get in Vegas heads. Didn't happen. C'est la vie. In most series though the better team wins and I still think that our goaltender and overall offensive talent better (from forwards and D) than Vegas, better PK and perhaps marginally better PP – Jets should prevail. Need 27 back though as he shoots high which we need more of.

  15. When Vegas get in and tight on winnipegs small d it really shows. Transition game and poor d zone coverage killed them last night. Huge opportunity wasted but still have some hope coming home. Just have to stick to it and make Vegas pay when opportunity presents itself( 4 on 3pp)

  16. Knights were lucky to not be down by 3 goals after first 15 minutes / it wud have changed knights game to risky and jets wud have been 5-1 winners again

  17. LMFAO!! As the talk is every year in these here parts……"Oh well, there's always next year."……….That should be the Winnipeg Jet's motto. The poor suckers that once again "bought-in" to all the hype for overpriced playoff tickets. LOL…..suckers!
